Overnight stays must be booked directly through the hotel, either online or by calling 800-966-6490, not a third-party site. Guests must be booked on the Silverton Christmas Market package rate to receive access to the market.

We recommend that you purchase your admission tickets and snowless tubing tickets online in advance. Once these items sell out online, they will not be available at the door.

We will have timed slots for attendees to enter the event at 5pm, 5:30pm, 6pm or 7pm. This will help ease the flow of traffic and prevent congestion. Guests are welcome to stay as long as they’d like, but may not enter the event until their scheduled time slot. If you are purchasing VIP Parking, please choose the option closest to your admission time slot.

Yes! We understand traffic, weather and life can sometimes get in the way of your plans. We ask that you don’t enter until your scheduled time, but you are welcome to arrive anytime after the start of your timeslot. For example, if you have a ticket at 6pm, you will not be able to enter until 6pm, but you are welcome to come at 7:30pm if that’s when you can make it. We look forward to seeing you when you get here!

Tickets are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule your tickets, click the link to view your tickets at the top of your confirmation email. Then click “Reschedule Your Tickets” and select which date you’d like to reschedule your tickets for in the dropdown menu for each ticket. Tickets may be rescheduled for an equal or lesser value without incurring additional fees. Or you may upgrade your ticket to a more expensive day for an additional charge. Click “Save and Reprint”.

The event takes place from November 22 – December 31, 2024 (closed Nov. 28, Dec. 24 & 25). Activites take place every single night of the event!

Please note that Santa’s last night is December 23, and then he will go on a much-needed vacation once he’s finished with his Christmas deliveries.

Due to high demand during the holiday season, if you need to cancel your visit, please do so more than 14 days in advance of your stay (prior to our 3pm check-in time), otherwise, you will be charged the full payment for your stay.

We offer VIP parking at the Oregon Garden Resort for $20, General Parking at The Oregon Garden parking lots for $12, and complimentary shuttle service to and from offsite parking lots. VIP & General Parking must be purchased online in advance. A limited number of General Parking spots may be available for $15 at the door, based on availability.

Shuttles run on continuous loops between the parking lots and the event. The first shuttle is at 4:45pm and the last shuttle leaves the Resort at 9pm. Hotel guests can park at the Resort for free as part of their overnight package.

No, our food, drink, and vendor booths are cashless this year. Please bring a debit or credit card for those purchases.

Yes, pets are allowed at the event, but our shuttles are not pet-friendly. If you are a hotel guest who booked a pet-friendly room or you purchased VIP parking or General Parking, your well-behaved pet is welcome at the event on a leash!

Most of the light path at the Silverton Christmas Market is ADA accessible. The path is a flat, wide pathway made of coarse gravel that most wheelchairs and strollers can navigate. We recommend electric wheelchairs or those with thicker wheels that can navigate coarse gravel.

Lights will not be placed inside The Oregon Garden moving forward. Since the Resort’s parent company, Moonstone Hotel Properties, no longer manages The Oregon Garden, the event now resides on the grounds of the Oregon Garden Resort. This has been a positive change for the event, bringing a longer and more intimate walking path, a one-way path to ease the flow of traffic and varied landscaping to make one million lights even more spectacular.

Event attendees and guests at the Oregon Garden Resort will enjoy a beautiful path decorated with an immersive light display and market starting at the Resort’s main lodge, winding along paths around the building, through the Wedding Garden and beyond. The display will include many of the lights you have come to love at Christmas in the Garden.

This event has become a beloved family tradition over the past decade, but it was not always called the Silverton Christmas Market. In 2020, the event was called Lights at the Oregon Garden Resort and prior to that, the event was held in The Oregon Garden’s Rediscovery Forest as Christmas in the Garden. The new Silverton Christmas Market focuses on its German heritage and gathers inspiration from authentic German Christmas Markets, with collectible mugs; traditional lebkuchen (gingerbread hearts) and gluhwein (mulled wine); artisan vendors; booths selling imported, handcrafted German nutcrackers, smokers and ornaments; and a light section dedicated to Krampus – the wicked German counterpart to St. Nicholas.
